Call For Abstracts

This is a Call For Abstracts for the National Wetlands Indaba for 2025. All abstracts will be submitted electronically and online via a Google Form. Please make sure you complete all requested information in order to make your submission proceed smoothly.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee under the management of Dr Alanna Rebelo (RebeloA@arc.agric.za) and Ms Kate Snaddon (kate@frcsa.org.za).

You may submit abstracts for consideration in the following session types:

• Oral paper presentation (10 min talk + 5 min questions).
• Hardcopy poster presentation (A0 or A1 size).
• Workshop / Special Session (max 1.5 hrs).

If you would like to organise a workshop/special session as well as submit an abstract for a paper or poster (or any other combination), please submit two separate abstract forms. One form entry per submission.

Deadline for submissions

• 20 July 2025

Notification of acceptance

• 20 August 2025.
